This is the collection notice a registered migration agent reads to, and acknowledges on behalf of, a trainee before an intake is submitted. It is the verbatim text presented at the point of collection, mapped to Australian Privacy Principle 5.

Who is collecting your information
Your migration agent is collecting your personal information through Lodgeable (ABN to be added), an Australian software tool. Lodgeable is used to draft your subclass 407 training plan and the supporting documents your agent will lodge with the Department of Home Affairs.

What we collect
Your full legal name, date of birth, passport number, nationality, current location, contact details (email, phone, residential address), education history, professional certifications, prior employment history, the position proposed by the sponsoring employer, salary, skill levels, training milestones, and the consent acknowledgement itself together with the time and IP address from which it was given.

Why we collect it
To draft the training plan and the related documents your sponsor and your agent need for the visa application, and to maintain a record of your consent for audit purposes as required by the Migration Agents Registration Authority and the Australian Privacy Principles.

How it is stored
Identifying personal information is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before it is written to the database. Database hosting is in the Australia region. The encryption key is held by Lodgeable. The plan record persists until you, your agent, or the firm administrator removes it.

Where it is sent
Generating the narrative sections of your training plan requires sending a redacted, token-protected version of your intake to Anthropic, Inc. (United States) and may also touch infrastructure operated by Vercel, Inc. (United States). The redacted version replaces every identifying field with a non-reversible placeholder before transmission; your name, date of birth, passport number, address, contact details, salary, and prior employer names are not sent.

Your rights
You may withdraw consent and ask to have your record deleted at any time by contacting your migration agent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
